Get Away Time

I believe that it is important from time to time for leaders of organizations, families, and churches to get away from the grind of day-to-day operations and evaluate the state of the union. Beginning tomorrow morning, the elders of The Journey are going to do just that. We are getting away Thursday through Saturday and asking God to reveal to us where we could be better, what He wants us to do, and how He wants us to do it. We are going to ask fun, but hard questions about our effectiveness and how we can reach more people for Christ. I pray we come back with some Big Hairy Audacious Goals for The Journey that can only be accomplished by God's doing. Pray for us. Pray for clarity to hear from God on the issues we are discussing. Pray that the strategy for launching these new churches/campuses will be clear and effective to expand the kingdom.
